Manufacture

Management

(Supply Chain Management)

“Manufacturing” here does not only mean assembly, it means the complete cycle of the product’s manufacturing life. We focus on supporting the suppliers in their daily work, in each step and process, in order to achieve and maintain a LEAN manufacturing process.

In ECONE’s opinion, production management, also called supplier chain management, is a key step in ensuring the growth of a company. A strong supply chain  allows the company to produce at competitive prices with efficient and reliable delivery times, minimum inventory and good quality throughout the product’s life.

In order to achieve this target, the ECONE team carries out detailed but efficient management development work at every step.  We apply relevant management tools like “Supplier Survey Configuration” , KPIs for suppliers,  “Quotation Legend Charts”, “Quality Control sheets”, etc. to guarantee that our suppliers work within the right conditions.  We believe in standardizing the supplier's work (through built up SOP, “MASTER SAMPLE CONTROL”,  “TOLERANCE  MANAGEMENT”, “DRAWING CONTROL SHEET”, “MODIFICATION SHEET”.  “INCOMING/INJECTION/FINAL PRODUCTS INSPECTION SHEET”, etc.) while still allowing the flexibility to customize each area to the customer’s needs.

Through many years of collaboration, we have developed a mature supplier circle and can provide services covering the complete production chain. We are following “Q.C.D.S” in supplier development, and we always keep 2 or 3 alternative suppliers on hand. Depending on the case, we will share the orders with priority suppliers.

With each supplier, we focus on the following:

1) Production Piece Control: injection, stamping, cuttings, fasteners, etc.

2) Assembly Part Purchasing and Control: rubber profiles, PCB, electronic components, packaging materials, painting, locks and any other parts needed for production. We carefully match customers with the best suppliers to fit their budget and quality requirements.

3) Assembly Line Optimization as a daily requirement.

4) Packaging methods: packaging for semi-finished goods, inner transfer packaging, and final product packaging.

5) Quality Control: customized quality control sheets and methods based on each customer´s requirements and the creation of follow-up documentation for regular tracking of quality status.

6) Laboratory Testing: we are able to offer lab tests or certification if needed, either on a regular basis or at the time of project launch. We collaborate with TUV, SGS, and reliable Chinese labs in order to perform a range of tests, from simple daily function tests such as salt spray tests, painting tests, RHOS checks, impacts tests, etc. to more complex laboratory tests such as IEC, ISO, CE, RHOS, CCC, REACH, UL, etc.

7) Transparency: We want to share all the actions and information we have with our customers. We believe this is the only way to build trust and for our customers to gain knowledge and experience that they can use to improve future products.
